Product Description A powerful 1000 watts drive this top-of-the-line Juice Fountain Elite Juicer. Designed to commercial standards, it features a die-cast metal base and extra large stainless feed chute so you can insert whole fruits and vegetables, cutting operating time considerably. Two electronic speed controls let you juice hard and soft foods, while a micro mesh filter basket catches the pulp. A large pulp container lets you continue juicing longer before emptying. Holds a generous one liter. When you're done, the unit cleans up effortlessly. Best of all, you save time and money spent on pricey juice bars.

BEST JUICER.....BY FAR!!!!!! November 14, 2008 I have owned a $100.00 Juice Man juicer for a year and it finally stopped working. It was hard to clean. I juice every morning and alternate between Fruit (apples, pears, pineapple, oranges and limes) and vegetables (plum tomatoes, celery, carrots, jalapeno, cilantro). The carrot residue is exceedingly difficult to remove from the basket and the tomato seeds get stuck between the cutting blades. The brush is cheap and slowly lost about half of the bristles over the year. When it quit, I fell for the TV hype and bought a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Pro. What a piece of junk! At least the Juice Man has a good positive locking bar. The J.L Power Juicer has plastic grommets on top of the locking bar and a plastic cover which does not provide a good lock. Poor design!!!
I was told it was defective and sent it back and it was replaced. The second machine bogged down with the slightest pressure.
Its basket had the identical problems encountered with the Juice Man I sent it back and got a refund.
THEN I bit the bullet and bought the Breville Juicer.(800JEXL) Top of the line $299.00. with a 30.00 discount coupon at B.B and Beyond. The Titanium basket is twice as easy to clean. Carrots clean on the first run and it has yet to retain one tomato seed. Its rpm is so much faster than the other two. AND the residue is normally quite dry. The residue from Juice Man and JL Power Juicer was nrmally quite wet (contrary to the TV Hype). I bought small waste basket trash bags put in the residue catcher and cleaning is a breze. The Breville has the fewest parts, all the metal parts are sturdy. The juice collector is big (1 quart) and better in that it contains the juice better. The froth separator is ok ...but not that great on any of the machines. Thats ok for me as I always throw the fruit juice in a blender and add a banana and a raw egg. The veggies do not froth half as much. The Breville brush seems to have the bristles attached better as well. Have not lost one yet during cleaning. Botom line...if you ae a hard core juicer and want a strong machine that easy to clean, sturdy and simple.....Buy the Breville Model 800JEXL. It has not bogged down on high speed and 99% of the time the residue does not chunk. I am totally satisfied.
High Quality Product - Highly Recommended November 12, 2008 I have used the Juiceman II juicer for several years. I thought it was pretty good. But I wasn't thrilled with with fastening mechanism that held the top in place, the juice spout (which leaked and would over shoot the juice container) and overall construction. Though the product worked pretty well, the white plastic bowl which housed the cutting blade, became discolored by the fruits and veggies that were passed through it, and the product was messy to use.
I just purchased the Breville 800JEXL and am pleasantly surprised. The Stainless Steel Bowl that houses the cutting disc, is a welcome sight. It uses a spigot to fill the juice pitcher and prevents spills and mess. The machine is very quiet, and works very quickly.
Comparing the Juiceman II to the Breville 800JEXL is similar comparing a Geo Metro to a Lexus (which I don't own, but know the quality standard). Both work, but the quality, ergonomics and consumer experience make the difference.
I have read many reviews before buying this unit and they are accurate. I cannot see a problem with the product after using it 6 times.
The GOOD:
* Quality * Craftsmanship * Thoughtful Positioning of the controls * Low Noise Level * Ease of Cleaning * Speed of Operation * Design * Steel Bowl and Housing * Cleans easily with the spray attachment on the sink * Fits in the dishwasher as advertised
The Bad:
* Electrical cord sits off to the side at the front. (different but qualifies as functional) * The enclosed cleaning brush has a small diameter head, and the soft bristles aren't effective in cleaning the cutting disc.
QUALITY. SPEED, and SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP.
You Get What You Pay For.
TIPS:
* When buying product collect extra produce bags to line the collection bucket, minimizing clean up. * Wash all the parts of the machine prior to using it. ( a quick wash in the dishwasher) * Juice yourself Silly.....

1000 watts of Art November 8, 2008 The Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor works extremely well for us.
It holds a great deal of juice, although, we keep a pitcher nearby to increase capacity. Also, the discard bucket is quite large with capability to add a plastic bag for easier cleanup.
For those whom enjoy the benefits of freshly squeezed juice, this powerful machine may be for you!
Breville 800JEXL Juicer was a bit dissappointing October 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Breville 800JEXL Fountain juicer looks very attactive, nice and shiny, stainless steel, heavy, powerful, etc., but as far as the amount of juice it actually extracted from vegetables it was very dissapointing! I have the champion juicer and thought I was upgrading by buying the more expensive Breville juicer, but i was wrong. I compared them side by side and got almost double the juice with the champion juicer.
THE BEST EVER October 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This juicer has completely changed my life. I have lost weight and actually have less cravings for junk food. I love this juicer!
