Product Description The blossom-fresh flavor of crisp Washington apples, the tangy goodness of ripe apricots, and the nutty richness of crunchy English walnuts have made our namesake Aplets & Cotlets our top sellers since 1920. We slow-simmer the ingredients together to condense the rich flavors, and bring a smooth, gently chewy texture to our candies thats easy on the teeth and impossible to resist. We still do most everything by hand, just like when we first began making our famous candies, so you can taste the nostalgia in every bite. Our boxes contains 8 pieces each of Apple-Walnut and Apricot-Walnut candies.

Candy Addiction December 22, 2008 I've been eating Liberty Orchards Aplets & Cotlets for years, always around Christmas time. Now they are a Christmas tradition with my family. My wife thinks It's funny how much I love these candies. They just are so amazingly good. Addiction formingly good. Tastacular good. Freakingawesomly tasty good. Get some.
Old time favorites November 11, 2007 In the interests of disclosure -- I just came back from my school reunion where I got re-acquainted with the owner/manager of Liberty Orchards, a friend from high school. I grew up with the story of his family and the history of their business, through my mother who knew the family as their elementary school teacher. So, for me, this delicious candy is closely intertwined with the history of Armenia and the lovely family who emigrated to the U.S. from there, and the politically fraught issues of that "disappeared" nation. (This information is available in more depth at their web site and in "The Story of Aplets and Cotlets" by Greg Taylor.)
That said, Aplets and Cotlets have been my and my mother's favorite candy for more than a half century. The fruit and nut combination is perfectly balanced and the light coating of powdered sugar gives a not-too-sweet first taste. My only problem is that I have to eat the whole box. And I am not even a candy lover.
I am taking the time to write this review because, for some reason, this delectable treat has never extended its popularity much beyond the confines of the Pacific Northwest.....Poor, deprived everyone-else!
These are amazing! November 8, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My parents used to give and receive these as Christmas gifts when I was growing up. I just bought a box, and they are exactly the same as I remember from when I was a kid: they are amazingly good. You can't go wrong with these.
Aplets and Cotlets candy December 21, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Aplets and Cotlets have been here since I was a child growing up in the sleepy town of Cashmere, Washington. One of my classmates father and uncle owned and operated the candy factory and it became well known as much as the fruit stand "Tiny's" in Cashmere. There were many signs in many states directing people to Tiny's and to Aplets and Cotlets. Even to this day they give you free tours of the factory and samples of the candy while you are there. You will never forget the taste of the candy and it melts in your mouth. Like Lays potato chips you can't just eat one. Send a box to your family or a soldier overseas and you will be glad you did. Don't forget to get a box for yourself too. Enjoy. Pam
